Activities: Scenic ride to the gateway of Manang.
Start your journey with an early breakfast before riding through the main highway from Kathmandu to Besisahar. The ride provides an urban and rural panorama, with sequences that trace the course of the Marsyangdi River. Besisahar, the district capital of Lamjung, is a lively town and a good base for your Manang trek.

Activities: Off-road adventure, visit Taal Village.
Start your day on an exciting off-road journey to Chame, the administrative centre of Manang district. The initial segment of the travel involves steep dusty traverses until the romantic Taal Village is reached which is called in many ways the "heavenesque" place. The trail then proceeds through very tough tracks with impressive vistas across the hills and mountains and finally arrives at Chame at 2,715 meters.
